Dr. Paras Jain

• A professional Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, Dr Paras Jain is a post graduate and a PH.D in law, having passed both NET and SET examinations in one go. Dr Paras Jain is a visiting faculty for MBA institutions and M.Com at Sydenham College. 
• He has travelled across the campus to deliver pre-examination revision lectures for B.Com. Students.
• Relatively, a much sought- after figure at national and international seminars, Dr.  Paras Jain has presented and published several papers on matters of financial and legal importance –SEZ, SMEs, Salary Package, policies during Recession, IFRS etc that have won awards and wide acclaim. 
• He has also served on the board of the Editors of International Research Journal published by Rizvi College as well as the part of the academic think tank in Malimath committee on Legal Reforms. 
• Besides, he has served as the Vice Chancellor’s Nominee in the Board of Studies in Business law in past and serving currently in Board of Studies in Accountancy at the SNDT University Mumbai.

• I must candidly admit my realization that I can only  retain my legitimate claims to student-ship, as yet, in my subjects of accountancy and taxation, even as I share my wide & rather varied experiences as a practising Chartered Accountant since last 2 decades,  with the students undergoing tutelage at my institution.
• To meet the ends of teaching-learning, simultaneously with the regular studies, I endeavour the pursuit of periodically attending study-circle meetings, seminars & workshops introducing myself to the complexities & developments of my subjects.
• Occasionally, though with conviction, I also take the liberty of sharing my thoughts with the fellow teacher- participants in such seminars & meets. 
• The studies are prelude to magnanimity and richness of my subjects, the absolute comprehension & mastery over it still remains elusive, yet  always remain as my primary initiative.
