Ms Malita Fernandes (BMM Co-ordinator)
  • Malita Fernandes is the BMM Co-ordinator of the BMM department,
  • She is an M.A in Sociology, as well as an M.Ed from the University of Mumbai.
  • She has over six years of teaching experience at different levels, ranging from undergraduate, graduate, to postgraduate (MBA).
  • Malita is also a visiting lecturer at M.M.K (Bandra), SBC (Andheri) and ICFAI (Dadar). She is currently a proctor for the examinations conducted by the CFA.
  • She has attended seminars organised for the BMM department at the university level and has also helped organised seminars on media related topics like Film Appreciation and Introduction to Journalism.
  • She enjoys co-curricular activities and is always pushing the students to showcase their talents.

  • Edwin Mathias is a full time faculty member of the BMM department, with an M.A in English (Literature).
  • He is currently a visiting lecturer at Khalsa College (Matunga) and S.M.Shetty College (Powai). He has attended seminars on contemporary issues like the Indian Diaspora and LGBT rights as well as the workshop on the new credit system for the BMM department.
  • Along with teaching, western classical music is also his passion. His interests in teaching and music take him all over Mumbai and abroad.
  • He considers life as the best teacher and is constantly encouraging students to expand their horizons by exposing them to extra-curricular activities they normally would not consider.
