• August 2009-Published an edited book regarding life and literary contribution of Prof.Keshav Meshram-‘AKSHARANCHE AABHAL’.
• January 2010-Completed UGC funded Minor Research Project on ‘Effects of Globalisation on Marathi Literature’.
• August 2010-Participated in the workshop on Localisation of Marathi language on computer , organised Central Institute Of Indian Languages,Mysore.
• December 2010-was co-opted as a member of Board Of Studies,Marathi at Mumbai University.
• January 2011-Received grant from UGC for the Minor Research Project on ‘Critical analysis of Rajan Khan`s Novels and Short stories with Feminist approach’
• August 2011-Published a book on ‘Globalisation and Marathi Literature’

• She received Jr. Research fellowship in 1988 and after 2 years Sr. research Ph. D. fellowship from U.G.C. her topic of Ph. D. research was ‘gangadhar gadgil’s literary criticism and critical theory’.
• This was the first thesis of this type in which model of criticism of practical criticism was developed.
• She worked under the guidance of prof. Gangadhar patil, reader, university of Mumbai and well known Marathi critic.
• She joined M. D. College in 1994. She is visiting faculty of department of Marathi
• She has deep interest in modern literature and modern literary critical theories, like feminism structuralism etc.
• She has presented more than 30 research papers in university level & national level seminars.
• Her research papers are published in reknown critical magazines & also incorporated in books.
• To mark few-‘Ek shoonya Bajeerao- Adhigarbha natak’ is published in navanustumbh & ‘Visavya shatakatil kathasamiksha’ edited by Dr. Vilas kaole.
• Her thesis is published in 2005 ’Gadgilanchee samikharupe’.
• She was the member of B.O.S. between 2005-10.
• She is trustee of anustumbh pratishthan & has been publisher & printer of navanustumbh magazine for last 3 years.
• She is guiding teacher for Ph. D. student of university of Mumbai & one of her student has received Ph. D. in 2009.
• She has edited text books for M.A. & F.Y.B.A. Dr. Bharti Nirgudkar has been appoined on annual report committee, University of Mumbai.

Prof.Asha Kumbhar

Completed a research project funded an NGO Pukar on ‘Opportunities for self expression leading to confidence’ along with a group of 15 students.

• Organised Vidyarthi Melawa on the theme of ‘An Interaction with Contemporary Marathi Poets and Writers’with the help of an NGO Marathi Abhyas Kendra.
• Organised workshops on usage of Marathi (Unicode) on computers by Mr.R.Khanapurkar.
• Organised workshops on neat and grammatically correct Marathi by Dr.Alka Agarkar.
• Organised a workshop on understanding film by Prof.Abhijeet Deshpande.
• Organised lectures on career guidance for students learning Marathi language and Literature by Mr.Kiran Jog and Mr.Anand Mhapuskar.
• Organised a revision lecture for TYBA students on Poetics and criticism by Dr.Saroj Patankar.
• Organised Acharya Atre Intercollegiate Elocution Competition.
• Organised nature trips to Karnala,Kankeshwar and Shantivan .
