Head of the Department has done her Masters in History and specializes in Numismatics and Film studies. Ms. Condra is been awarded prestigious Charles Wallace Scholarship from British Council. Ms. Condra, worked as Research Associate for MacDonald’s Institute of Archeological Research, University of Cambridge. Ms. Condra has done post-graduate Diploma in Asian Arts (India Module) from British Museum & Royal Holloway College, London, UK. Besides Ms. Condra is honored with Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) and Royal Numismatics Society Fellowships. Recently, Ms. Condra successfully completed Film Appreciation Course, annually conducted by Film & Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. Ms. Condra is currently working on UGC sponsored minor research project entitled, ‘Redolence of Feminism in V.Shantaram Films: A review’. Ms. Condra has presented and published research articles on various subjects relating to coins & mints, Paintings (Ragamala), Films and community studies at National and International level. Ms. Condra is working on various committees of the college and is a Convener of UGC NET/SET coaching Programme, Film Appreciation Club and Career Guidance & Placement .
Prof. Rewant Vikram Singh
Assistant Professor of History

Rewant Vikram Singh (b. 1975) is an Assistant Professor of History at Maharshi Dayanand College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He completed his graduation (B.A. History Honours) and Post-graduation in History (with specialisation in Ancient India) from Hansraj College, University of Delhi, in 1996 and 1998 respectively. He secured first position in Hansraj College both in M.A. Previous (1997) and M.A. Final (1998). He has also been awarded certificates and prizes on successful completion of the "India: Art and Culture Course" and "Art Appreciation Course" from the National Museum, New Delhi in 1994 and 1995 respectively. He was awarded the M.Phil. degree of the University of Delhi in 2001 for his study on "Settlements in the Yamuna-Hindon Doab : An Archaeological Perspective". At present he is pursuing his doctorate in History from the University of Mumbai.
Rewant Vikram Singh is deeply involved in the study of various aspects of human History, Culture, and Archaeology, including history of environment and sustainable way of living. He has presented a number of research papers in several international and national conferences and has been awarded for his research papers.
Rewant Vikram Singh also has about ten years of professional corporate experience in ICT and eLearning industry and has worked on a number of international ICT/eLearning projects as Program Manager and Project Manager with various multinational companies. Several of his research papers on use of ICT in education have been well-appreciated in a number of international and national conferences on ICT.
