E.D.P. UNIT:-
Dr. Minoo Thomas, principal SIES College of commerce and economics, Mumbai, made presentation on ‘Entrepreneurship as a choice of career'
Vidyarthi vyapari peth was organized to encourage the Entrepreneurial skills in student. There were total 25 stalls. First prize each of Rs. 1500, sponsored by Janakalyan bank was awarded to Ms. Pooja Chavan of F.Y.B.Sc. from girls category and to Mr. Sarvesh Mestry of T.Y.B.Com. from boy’s category. In addition to this 2 prizes were awarded by judges and 3 prizes from EDP UNIT
Following workshops were conducted:
1.Painting without brush- By Mrs. Nilima Sutre, freelance artist, Mahim, Mumai.
2.Preparation of herbal cosmetics- by Dr. Gauri Soman, Botany department.
3.Preparation of cold cream and vanishing cream-by Dr. Anthony and Dr. Amol naik, chemistry department.
