An intercollegiate two days workshop ‘Vista’09’ was organized by the department.  A total of Rs.23,000/- was generated from the sponsors for the event.  The following events took place – IT Quiz, Website designing, Predict the output, Powerpoint presentation, Moct CET, Gaming & Debugging C program.

There were a total of 125 participants in the entire 2-days event.  Many students from various other colleges in the vicinity participated.

A seminar was conducted on ‘Career Guidance’ by Mr. Sameer Majithia, Director of an IT company.

Felicitation & Orientation

T.Y.B.Sc. (2007-08) result was 100%.  19 students appeared for the exam out of which 13 students got first class & 6 students got 2^nd class.  

Career guidance programme for Jr.College Maths students. There was a power-point presentation on ‘Job opportunities after B.Sc. in Maths’. 

Maths Olympiad – total 120 B.Sc. students participated.

Dept. of Maths felicitated the T.Y.B.Sc. students.  These students guided T.Y.B.Sc. (2008-09) students in various aspects such as importance of class tests, planning their studies for the University exam, etc.
